I don't think the Nuggets grab Monroe unless someone can take JJ Hickson or Javale McGee off their hands, considering the amount of money they have tied up in those two.

The more I think about it, unless Orlando really over values Afflalo, I would say Detroit and Orlando are better partners on their own. Why not just get Afflalo and Harkless for Monroe themselves instead of getting us involved and being stuck with Gordon? If Monroe and Afflalo are out, it's hard to see a Gordon trade that isn't lateral at best.

They need a PG(Lawson banged up/Miller's MIA) and we could give them roberts(+ maybe EG?)

You give them guard help but take away all of their SFs except Quincy Miller. Gallo isn't coming back this year.

It could work somehow but i'm just throwing this out there

I'd like affalo instead if we could get him but den makes good sense.

Salaries work for a lot of trades with Denver. They seem to have the most tradable roster in the NBA. Tons of solid role players but no household names.

I would love this trade. Makes sense for all teams if Orlando thinks Vucevic/Monroe can work well together.

Why would Detroit want Gordon more than Afflalo? Penetration/creation is the only thing I can think of where Gordon would probably be considered better at.

You're probably right. And an outright Afflalo/Monroe trade is only $1.2m away from working.
