I can't believe this has so much legs. You don't get rid of Cousins to fit fricking Alvin Gentry. And this isn't aimed at anyone in particular, but what the frick? You obtained a top 15 player to keep your top 5 player from getting his arse beat up every night and 4 weeks later we're ready to throw in the towel? Come on.

Davis to me is showing what a fricking boss he is when it comes to Boogie and I love it. Get a coach that can meet Boogie halfway or even a third of the way and you might be cooking here. Gentry is getting stepped on by Boogie AND isn't helping him at all. Boogie's been pretty chill considering his past and his role here along with terrible officiating.

Yea, it sucks we have to worry about his personality. But I also know exactly what the team has in Cousins cause he wears it out there. Just because MM comes running in here claiming we're super screwed in the locker room doesn't mean things turn out that way. That clown's a career pessimist who is playing it safe again by hedging against Boogie and betting on the past.

AD's one of the best teammates Cousins could have in the league. Give the man some fricking help and get out our way.

I'm definitely not advocating to get rid of a top 15 NBA player. And yes players like Boogie don't come around often but what I'm suggesting is that we need to ask ourselves if this is a guy we want to lock up for the next 5 years?

The team seems to be clicking right now and I'd argue that we are playing the best basketball of the season. Our team at least seems to be on the same page except for Boogie (which is understandable). So the organization must decide if they want to integrate Boogie into an offense that is clicking or start over with a new coach and/or new offensive scheme?

My last post isn't advocating to get rid of DMC, its just looking at our options, and every option comes with risk. Whatever decision is made we will be asking one, if not more of these questions: Can a Gentry and Boogie offense work? Can we trust Gentry to lead us to success? Can we trust the front office to hire the right coach if Gentry is fired? Will a new hire create a set back and/or discourage players that have been playing well? Can the team be patient and buy into a new scheme? Have we given the current offensive plan enough time to develop or are we being to reactionary with a small sample size? Will Boogie's attitude create a toxic lock room? Are we actually better off without Cousins AND firing Gentry? AD and Boogie are amazing individual players, but do they compliment one another?

Again disclaimer. I want Cousins in NO. I think he makes us infinitely better. And in the right scheme, he and AD will be the most dominating front court tandem in the game. But in the wrong scheme it could blow up in our face. The real question is what risks are we willing to take?

We're a small market basketball town with terrible history of late. Demps backed us into the corner of needing to take a risk, and at least he somewhat redeemed himself by going out and grabbing a needle moving huge risk/huge reward.

Even as Cousins hasn't looked to fit in, you can tell Davis isn't having to work as hard on both ends of the floor. There are already benefits just by having positional changes. And our best basketball of late could have a lot to do with Jordan Crawford playing an UNBELIEVABLY high brand of ball.

Did Joel just call out Kumar?

"Demarcus Cousins with a good attitude, a lot of people talking behind us. "

Or were the people behind him talking about Cousins having a good attitude?
