Lack of depth. We have 6 guys who can play with just about anyone. After that, there is a drop off

That's one of several problems, but definitely an issue. Our bench can't keep up with GS's bench

But GS proves you can have one superstar(or none) and a bunch of solid players to win

Out depth really isn't bad, especially if Jrue is playing.

We used to have Rivers and Salmons getting minutes... Now we have AD, Reke, EG, Jrue, Asik, QPon, Ryno (has to play better), Cole, Cunningham, Ajinca. That's a legit 10 guys that can be useful. Babbitt isn't a bad end of the bench option. We have a good amount of talent. It's not close to the level of GS, but I'd say it's top 10 in the NBA or very close to it.

I know they have the talent but no one off the bench scores the ball that consistently

Asik's lack of a shot. Dude gets the ball at the free throw line and doesnt even turn to look at the basket.

I wonder how he does on those in practice. He's a 60% FT shooter and they leave him wide arse open. Could he hit that 16 footer at a 50% rate?

The guy who's going to win the mvp is apparently not a superstar

You think being able to shoot better than anyone else in the league like he's playing a video game makes Curry a superstar?

Our team hasn't played a full season together. This year was the first time that Reke and EG started to play well together. Ryno and Jrue have missed significant time both this year and last. This is Asik's first year. We got Cole, QPon, and Cunningham mid season.

We are competing with the best team in the NBA right now. Yes we lost both games but it was on their home floor where they have lost 3 games ALL YEAR.

Lets just enjoy this ride

2 games actually.

This team has depth, there are 9 legit NBA players on this roster. You aren't going to have 10 starter quality players on your roster, no one has that.

They have two stars and a bunch of very good role players

Bogut, Green, and Barnes are more than just role players though.

Then you have a solid bench of AI, Lee, Speights, Livingston, and apparently Barbosa

They're 10 deep, probably one of 2-3 teams in the league that deep.

Yeah I knew role players didn't do some of them justice. Didn't know what else to call them.

GS has like 4. Curry, thompson, bogut, igoudala. The last 2 were the main stay on their respective teams.

You act like getting a bunch of solid players is easy to do. GSW is easily the deepest team in the league, and is a big reason why they have the best record. 3 of their starters are on rookie contracts.
2/3rds of their scoring comes from 7 guys making a combined $18 million
2/3rds of our scoring comes from 5 guys making $50 Million and 2 of them were hurt a good bit this year.

and our problem isnt' depth, anymore. It's health. We win game 2 if Tyreke and Jrue are healthy, or if Anderson would quit throwing up bricks and airballs and start hitting shots like we know he can do.
