I mean, I'm not saying what Gordon did/said was right, but we didn't exactly welcome him with open arms.

People were ecstatic we got Gordon thrown in instead of Bledsoe and the 1st. his injuries and shite attitude were what turned the fans on him, not that we expected CP3. He was a 22 ppg young SG heading over who didn't live up to expectations, not a rookie having a bad season in a class full of bad rookie seasons.

The game is a business. Buddy was never going to be anything special; nothing personal, just a fact. If we can extend Cousins and add one more player at shooting guard or small forward, we will be a force.

I'm by no means saying we shouldn't have done the trade, I love how this has worked out for the Pels... just feel bad for Buddy.

That's all it is man. Feel bad for the guy. All that opinion stuff about how he was as a player is meaningless.

No one should feel bad for Hield. He's gone from limited minutes and limited shots to a team that will let him play 35+ minutes a night with a green light from day 1, run their offense around him, and build that roster around him. It's a win win situation for Hield. Hield just fast tracked his development and will have every opportunity to become "star" but whether or not he becomes one will be another story.

Hield just went to a team with no identity so it'll be easier for the Kings to tailor their offense to his style.
