Well, my post was in reference to if we had to protect 8 dudes right now now. There is no way Jaxson would be on that 8 man list. He likely won't get much playing time this season unless we have injuries. He'll want and someone will probably give him $10 mil a year in the offseason and we shouldn't be the team to do that.

On top of that, I doubt any team would give up a 1st for him so he has little value to the Pelicans right now outside of just being trade filler or a dude who might play 10 minutes a night in year 4.

I can't be objective about hayes. I can't get over what a dumb move it was to trade the 4th and end up with a guy who is all learning curve.
he is in my 5 worst trades ever column.
what a reach. desperate reach or just really stupid.
he's cheap now so unless he does some idiotic off camera crap again I hold him for now.
