Sounds like they're trying to have him ready to go for the playoffs. Not sure how much of an impact he'll have in getting us there though.

Ready for the offseason is also important.

1 possession can make the difference. Will it? No idea. Options are good, though.

I guess what Simon is trying to say above is that 15 minutes of less than 100% Jrue is better than Toney Douglass. So I guess that could help a bit.

Not sure how much him playing 15 minutes a game this last 4 will have that much of an effect on the offseason though

The minutes themselves directly... Not much.

However, going into the offseason having game minutes under your belt following a stress injury in particular is very important, potentially. Stress injuries come from and are aggravates by repetitive stresses... like game minutes, training, etc. Being able to validate that you are ok for game minutes on some level could very well help to ensure that Jrue is ready in all ways, cardio included, for training camp at least and maybe even to add something to his game.

It is about the nature of his injury more than the minutes in themselves.

One thing is for sure, if the Pels do make the playoffs they have a much better chance against GS with Jrue than without. When is the last time we've had all of our 6 best players able to play?

Very small sample size with the core of this team healthy

no word, but i'd have to imagine Jrue will play limited minutes at the end of the 1st/early 2nd and then again end 3rd, early 4th.

So Reke, EG, Qpon, AD, Asik with Jrue, Cole, Cunningham, Ryno, Ajinca off the bench. Sounds solid.

This is particularly alarming because reports just said he didn't feel right yesterday. He does not need to be out there to reaggravate a chronic injury. I think this may be the wrong move.
I am not impressed at all with our training staff. If anybody needs to go is them. I don't like conflicting reports on injuries, players saying they hurt, but playing cause they love the game, but not ready.

He is not healthy if he just said something doesn't feel right. This is bull.

He also said they kept him out longer than he wanted to be out.

Talk talk talk.

Bottom line, they are not going to gamble with him more than any other player.

Also, my guess is the number of people qualified to even discuss the medical staff is far smaller than the number of people actually trying to evaluate them.
