He doesn't need to when he can pass for shite. Steve Nash didn't have a 3 pt shot to begin with and he developed.

We need a player that can shoot. We need to spread the floor. Yes, Rubio can pass, he can facilitate, but he will do nothing to get the lanes unclogged. We have guys who can own the paint. Now we need guys who can space the floor so that the bigs can do work.

Yeah my bad.
What I meant to say was a pass first PG like Steve Nash and Jason Kid who then developed his 3pt shot.
However I was totally wrong to say Nash wasn't a good 3 pt shooter. He was now looking at his stats.

That would be awesome but won't happen. This team needs an above average to elite small forward or shooting guard to really take advantage of Boogie and AD.
