How much can we spend while still being able to bring back Ryno?

Not saying that I want it to happen, but I believe we have ~$10-12m in space left after the Hill signing. I know Ryno had like a $9m hold. Does that mean we can spend ~$1-3m, then go over the cap with Ryno?

I don't think there is interest on both sides.

150% of previous salary = $12.75mm cap hold.
We'd have to renounce rights to Babbitt and Douglas, or trade someone beforehand to even work out a S&T. Right now looks like they are just letting him walk.

I'm pretty sure they brought in Hill to take the Ryno role, and play some SF.

Ryno easily most overrated player in the history of Pellies talk.

Would love to get a small asset in return in a S&T if possible.

they can't do that because they don't have cap room for his bird rights hold.
not at the moment anyway

ryno is about to get PAID
glad for him and I wish him all the best

It'll be sad to see Ryno go but it's for the best. I'd much rather pay Babbitt $1M to be a poor mans Ryno than pay Ryno $20M+/year.

Would entail dumping Evans first I would think.

the unfortunate fact is that the past couple of years Ryan has been a net negative on the court. He's gives back on one end more than he gives on the other. and without Davis on the floor it's even worse

he needs a better fit

Yep, if they dump Reke, they could re-sign or sign and trade Ryno using Bird Rights
