I think everyone can agree that Gravy is not an elite star and not the future of this team. That being said, i just dont agree with trying to let him go by all means necessary. When we let him go, i need guaranteed value in return. I dont trust letting him go for an unproved rookie who may or may not be good

If gravy was a good starting point guard we should be in playoff contention. He is a ball hog that passes at the end of the shot clock, that why he gets assists. I dont mind him as a backup, but we need to draft a pg or sf in this draft and i think that there are some really good pgs in the draft that you just cant pass on. i doubt gv will be ok as backup

OMG. you just stirred up a Hornets nest.

A good point guard? Naww we'd need a great pg like chris paul level.. And last time i check, i dont see any chris paul level guards in the draft,, i may be wrong,, but id doubt it

i'm pretty sure we are going pg or sf in the draft. those are our two biggest needs.

lolwut? not saying gravy is good but there is only a few pgs in the league that could've had this team in playoff contention this year.

Jrue Holiday, Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Damian Lillard, Rick Rubio, will all be at home watching the playoffs like us.

wall was out for a long time. since he's been back they've been fairly solid but yeah there are some elite pgs not going to the playoffs

Vasquez for anything in the 15-25 range is a no-brainer.

1) You don't want to waste time giving him minutes anymore when you have younger players you are counting on to develop with much more upside

2) Next year is the LAST year on his contract and if you are willing to give Vasquez the 4-5yr/30 million dollar contract he's going to command, you're insane. Get something for him while you can.

3) 1st Rd. contracts in the NBA are gold. Hope for the best and if you're lucky and can scout talent well (which Dell has proven to be more than capable of doing), you have that player on a 3-4 yr/dirt cheap deal.

i dig this. folks dont realize the game of the draft. just cause its the first round doesnt mean a player has to be a starter or an allstar. most late first are draft and develop, draft and stash, draft for depth. plus you have them cheaply for years. if u lucky or a great scout u get guy who becomes a great starter.

Gravy for michael carter williams aka higher potential more qthletic younger gravy on rookie contract? In a second. If the 300 or so decent nba players in the leqgue past few years were all top 5 picks it would have takrn 60 years yo get them. Still hoping for darius miller to develop into decent bench player. Look at chandler parsons, pick 38... I frankly don't think gravy fits this team at all... maybe memphis would've been a better fit

There are tons of players who are drafted outside of the lottery who are great. I could start naming them if need be. GV has reached his ceiling. He isn't the answer for us. Wouldn't be a terrible gamble.

Yep.

Since the lottery is a bit down, IMO Demps needs to get another pick in this draft.

Question is could Vasquez return a mid to late first?

Top end talent is so so this year.

But I think there are some good value guys later in the draft. McCollum, Isiah Austin, Withey, McDermott, Larkin, Dieng, Wolters, Thomas, tony Mitchell etc

Miller will be a solid player. The question is will he be a guy who can start

all of these guys are worth replacing gravy for either keeps or some other type of deal that makes us better. just think of the production of these guys compared to their salaries

If the lottery is down doesn't that mean draft is down? Why would we want another pick in mediocre draft?

Or do you mean they are all so even hard to separate then so more picks givea bettwr chance to hit the player
