If you give up half the starting lineup for Carmelo I think you have to rebuild some more before contending.

I tend to agree.

It's amazing that Melo is pretty much guaranteed to leave the nuggets now, and this board has had a 180 in terms of expectations towards Melo. We were making it sound like a done deal before it was even possible, now it sounds like we don't even want him

I'd love to have him if we had a team remaining to put around him and Paul.

I think it's very unlikely. But it's not outside the realm of reason that the chips could fall so that he lands here.

The Knicks are working on bringing Isiah back. They are ridiculously dysfunctional. If Carmelo cares about winning he needs to stay the hell away from the Knicks. He'd be better off going to Brooklyn.

just like what happened with cp3, if melo says he wants to leave he nuggets will likely trade him to get something back than just letting him go...for us to trade and get melo i believe it will take mt5 and brackins with peja so they can get some young talent

Our shot is pretty damn small, but anything is possible while Melo's situation is up in the air. The knicks have at least a 50/50 chance and I'm not sure he's really looking anywhere else
