I was just reading a thread on clutchfans where they are getting boners because some chron writer said Morey will make a push for him. What fricking team won't be trying to get him this year. Guy has to be 50/50 to go to NY which sucks since we have their draft picks next year and need them to do shity.

Just for the hell of it, what do you think the Rockets would /could give up?

The Hornets dont have much.

NYC probably does have the pieces to do it

I would love it but he would likely never sign an extension to play with us before he was traded. Rockets have pieces Denver would want but Melo would bolt durring free agency. Ya'll have a guy he wants to play with, the problem is he wants to play with him in NYC

Knicks' picks, young players like Hill and Patterson, Budinger to take Carmelo's spot. They'd probably have to give up Martin along with Jeffries' expiring contract. The Rockets would have to move a lot of salary. They do have a nice trade exception from the Ariza deal though.

Collison would've been a good asset for the Hornets to use with Chauncey getting older.

They really like Lawson. For the Hornets, i think Ariza fills the same spot Budinger would in a trade with Denver. Theyd plug either one into Carmelo's spot.

MT5 may have to be in the deal, unfortunately. Wouldn't you think?

We could give them a ton but would probably not go further than Hill, there pick of Budinger, Brooks, or possibly Martin if we get desperate to go along with the Knicks picks. Throw in Jefferies to make the salaries match. I don't think there is anyone on our team that would be off limit but we would negotiate at a position like 4 where we have depth to see what they wanted. If they shot down Hill and Melo signed an extension before the trade I don't see Morey having a problem replacing him with Scola.

If Houston throws in Martin and those picks, i think Denver would do it. If not, i think the Knicks have the upper hand. They have some nice young talent and Curry's huge expiring. Plus thats obviously where Melo wants to go

Run up and down the court jacking up shots and playing no D in Dantoni's system

The Hornets have Peja's huge expiring, Ariza, West and Thornton. I think Paul being here is the only thing that makes it the slightest possibilty

name one fricking reason why he would not want to come play in New Orleans. You need a point guard and New York does not have one. Come on down. If this happens the Hornets will blow up in Louisiana

Tony Parker recently said he wants to go to NY. I hope he does, so they have nothing left to offer Denver.
