Drummond probably should be picked around there.

hopefully not by us, I'd rather Austin Rivers.

I am no Drummond fan, but he may be a decent risk at 10

Like Monty said in the DE interview, it really depends on how the chips fall before the 10th pick, if a player we feel is a top 5 talent in the draft falls to us at 10, we take him and find a way to fit him into our system. I definitely didn't want us to have to take a risk pick like Drummond with our first pick, but his upside is pretty high for a number 10 pick, it really depends on how the organization feels about him.
Regardless I trust Monty and Demps 100% no matter who we take.

This mock has Lillard going to Portland at 6.

Unless the Blazers want Joel Pryzbilla and Hasheem Thabeet to be the future at center, they're drafting Drummond.

I think I'm as critical of Drummond as anyone, but we'd be dumb to not take him if he was still there.

I would literally cum my pants if this happened.

TWIN TOWERS 2.0!
Chicago tried it with Curry and Chandler. That was a huge flop for them though.

whether you like drummond or not, you would have to take him at 10....he won't fall that far though

I'd be fine with that pick. We could amnesty Okafor and play it patiently while we wait to make a move in the future (CP3 return, etc)

I don't think he falls that far, but I'd be pretty excited if we got him at 10.
On another note, the last few mocks I've seen have Lillard going 5-7 range.

It's doubtful he falls that far, but we just need to take the best player available. Not try to build a title contender out of draft picks for next year or anything.

Well these responses are sure making the OP look like a dummy.

Portland and Toronto are the only two teams picking before the 10th pick that would be in the pg market. Nonetheless it's looking like we will get great value with that pick. NDLNC
