Just a matter of time.
Also, frick the Tyreke haters. Dude is a fricking baller. You're idiots.
In order of players we should keep:
1. AD
2. Tyreke
3. Jrue
4. Dante
5. Perkins
Everyone else GTFO and let us rebuild.

I'd add QPON and ISH to that list.

I sure hope we move Cole before he costs us more game by keeping Ish on the bench. The spark that Ish provided was more evident tonight than in any other game. He did in a few minutes what it took Cole much of 3 quarters to produce. Game was close, Ish comes in, and a few minutes later we are up by 10. Ish leaves, and in a few minutes the lead is cut in half. At the end, we were down by 7, Ish comes in, and suddenly we're tied. Since Cole returned, if you replace him with Ish we win all but the Celtics game. Fact.
Tonight:
Ish 8/4/2 for a +11
Cole: 5/2/1 for a -6 (and played 5:30 longer)

at people like you watch three pelicans games a year and act like you know everything
Tyreke is fricking terrible 2 out of six games and bad another 2 out of 6 games - just because you happened to catch one of his good ones doesn't really mean crap, mate. I mean even Austin rivers is decent a few times per year

Yeah this pretty much confirms again you don't know what in the Frick you're talking about.

tyreke doesn't suck. he's just a ball dominant 2 guard who can efficiently drive and score or get fouled whenever in a league (and system) increasingly predicated upon ball movement and 3 point shooting.
(which sucks)

Yeah, Tyreke isn't terrible, the question is can he change his mentality enough to fit what Gentry wants to do. He shot 5/6 from 3 last night, a HUGE anomaly. If he shoots his average percentage he turns an efficient game winning performance into an inefficient game in a loss where he only had 4 assists. The team had 21 assists last night on 39 makes, that's not a good number, if they weren't incredibly hot from 3 they lose the game and honestly don't look very good on offense.
But back to original direction of the thread, yes Cole needs to go. His interpretation of the Take the First Open Shot rule ain't pretty.

Jrue and Ish are the best guards for the offense
It's very apparent

Gordon wouldn't be bad if he could hit a goddamn open shot. He's shooting 35% on open and wide open 3s. Last season he shot 47%. And he's getting 1.5 more open 3 attempts per game. He should be killing it in this system.

If they have seen enough and they're serious about moving Anderson/breaking up this core, they should try to attach Evans in the deal. Swapping just Anderson for Morris or whatever new big won't fundamentally change much. Still have only 2 good bigs and the same fit questions in the backccourt.
They won, but that was a miserable game. God bless fans who went and stayed at that game. I could at least switch over to Warriors/Celtics.

Didn't Gordon start off super slow last year? Maybe it picks up again?

Do you even watch the NBA? Evans is a behind-the-times, Byron Scott-inefficient type player. He hurts us in two thirds of the games he plays. He is the a epitome of a Sacramento Kings type player - a losing player that will rack up stats and look good to uneducated NBA fans

I'm starting to wonder if Cole will ever heat up. At this point, you have to give Ish those minutes. It's taking Cole too long to get it together. It's like someone turns the lights off in the arena when he comes in for Jrue.
