Draft Express latest mock reflected this. No Lillard, no Rivers, no Waiters and no Drummond. Had us taking Jeremy Lamb...

He elected to attend Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy for high school, and in his four years he played mostly as power forward, averaging 16.6 points per game (ppg), 13.4 rebounds per game (rpg) and 6.3 blocks per game in 129 appearances.[1][3] As a senior, Howard led his team to the 2004 state title.[3] He averaged 25 points, 18 rebounds, 8.1 blocks and 3.5 assists per game

This may explain why Detroit just paid Charlotte a future first to trade Ben Gordon's shitty deal for Corey Maggette's expiring shitty deal.

Yeah, they are good, but compare that to other big men in high school.

Howard was drafted on intangibles/potentials alone and the Magic took a much bigger risk with the first overall pick than we would be at 10 with Davis already picked.

I say roll the dice and go for potential.

Drummand wont get past 7... Somebody will make a move up to grab him if he drops past 5 IMO

Yeah, I think that happens too.

But if by some chance he is still there at 10. You have to take him.

I see where you are coming from for sure, but I think he is a take if he falls to 10.

I really don't get where the dislike for Rivers is coming from, the dude will be an effective pro. He has undeniable scoring ability and great ballhandling.

I agree

I also think Lillard goes 6 to Portland... they said he had the best workout they've seen since Durant.

Austin Rivers at 10 is what I want...

We have to go big and if we don't we have to get someone we can groom as a starter for the near future. Rivers would be behind Gordon and I don't think he can play PG.

Our wishlist for 10 should be:

1. Drummond
2. Leonard

3. Lillard

4. Trade down for Zeller

5. Rivers.

I like your list...i like Moultrie too. and i don't think trading down for Zeller would work. just take him at ten if we want him

I don't necessarily think he will be a point guard, but could certainly play minutes at the 1.

He is most likely the most gifted scorer in this draft, I don't see how you could not want him on the team; bc he isn't a PG? So what? A good player can contribute regardless of position (and positions of need. Last I checked we have like 5 players under contract, 2-3 of which are 3rd-5th guys off the bench. We're building a team here and I think he would be an excellent piece.

the team needs scoring...but if he can't play PG or SF, which i don't think he can, there won't be many minutes for him cause no one wants him taking minutes away from the best scorer and player on our team. he won't be a very good defender either
