Going off of my preseason expectations:

A Vasquez
A- Anderson, Aminu, Davis
B+ Mason
B Gordon (mostly because he missed so many games), Smith
B- Lopez, Roberts
D Henry, Rivers

This is the correct answer. I'd maybe give Gordon a B if you count his injury as part of expectations. Meaning considering his injury his performance has been a B for me. Considering he's our only max player he's been a C

i forgot about Henry and Thomas...both would be C for me. pretty much what i expected.

why is everyone ranking gordon above average? did people think he wasn't going to do anything this season?

eta: shite i forgot smith, too. he'd be at around a C+

I'd rank him higher, even with some uneven stats, if he didnt miss the first 30 games.

like the link says, his defense has been pretty good

eta: didnt mean to do that

he's pretty much done what I thought he would do. i guess I kinda already knew his defense was good and that the team would be much better with him...he's been kinda non-existant the past few games, so maybe i'm letting that factor into my grade too much.

I had some doubts, considering we hadnt seen him nightly since spring of 2011

fair enough, just kinda wondering what everyone's expectations were of gordon heading into the season. i could probably start a thread on that, but i'm too lazy...may be something to do around all-star break once he has a few more games on this road trip.

Gordon has had some costly late TOs over the last few games, but he's obviously been the missing link...especially with the way rivers has played.

A- Vasquez (14ppg and third in assists; still a bit turnover prone)
B+ Davis (has looked a lot better than I expected offensively; had some bad games on defense)
B Lopez (his offensive game has been a pleasant suprise; needs to get better at rebounding)
B- Anderson, Aminu, Mason, and Smith (inconsistent but dangerous when hot)
C+ Gordon (incredible his first two games back; hasn't played with much fire since)
C Roberts (good shooter but meh at every thing else)
C- Henry (has shown improvement defensively but still a black hole on offense)
D- Rivers deserves a F but he's 20 years old

What are you talking about? Everyone knew that he'd have a lot of development and learning to do on the offensive end, not to mention bulk up some to keep up with bigger guys in the NBA. And through all of this, his PER is still the best on the team. He's averaging about 14 and 8 with 2 bpg as a rookie. What did you expect?

Everyone knows that if a 19 year old rookie big man doesn't average 22/11/4 then he is definitely a bust. Stop making excuses for him.

Lillard's PER is 16.5, which is the 21st best PG in the league. there are a lot of young PGs in the league, too.

AD's PER is 20.75...someone mentioned earlier he would only be the 7th rookie to have a PER above 20...ever.

that's 4th among a VERY veteran heavy group of PFs in the league. not too shabby if you ask me.

Meh. He isn't #1 and didn't make the All Star team so he hasn't been very good.
