Alonzo gee is taking his talents to Israel or somewhere where he can make 3 times what he would make in America. Don't blame him.

I preferred Cunningham over gee. At least Cunningham can occasionally hit the open 3. How many games have watched this year where gee bricked 2 open 3 point shots within the first few minutes of a game, lots.

Like I said I don't claim to know these things with any sense of certainty but I'm willing to bet that Gee's agent spoke to the Pels and they may have mentioned it being in his best interest to move on. That's all I mean.

He's considered pretty high on many people's list but I'm thinking more in dollars when i say that.

Jrue/Qpon/FA/AD/Asik

Reke/Hield/FA/DC/Ajinca

Frazier/Ennis/Diallo

I wouldn't mind those 11 + 2FAs. Of the current 11, I'd say only 3 are bad contracts, and with the cap going up Ajinca's won't be too bad either. Hopefully one of the FAs is Bazemore. Idk what we do with the other.

If Gee could have just developed a somewhat consistent 3 point shot, he is exactly the type of player that we need. You would think that if he just hit the gym and worked hard at it day in and day out with our shooting coach, that he could make that happen. I love his defense, but it just doesn't seem like he will ever get there offensively.

Gee looked awesome at times when he'd drive to the basket - great athleticism. He pissed me off at fan appreciation day though. There's a line of people waiting to get stuff signed, and he turns around, walks away, and goes to sit down and chat up the face painter. We walk over there and he just looks at us like "what, I have to get up?" So my kid walks around the table to stand by him for a photo, and finally he stands up for the photo. Freaking bench warmer should be glad someone even wants a photo or an autograph. At that point I wrote him off as a guy too lazy to realize his full potential. Man, I miss BDJ - he seemed like a super athletic guy willing to bust his arse for you.
