“If a team puts a center on him, (Davis) is going to look to shoot over him or go by him,” Hanson said, explaining how Davis’ approach changes depending on the defender. “If they put Blake Griffin or a natural matchup (a similar-sized power forward) on him, then you might mix it up and change up your medicine; you’re not going to just give them one thing. But if they put a small forward on him, now he’s going to be able to use his size as an advantage. He saw more (small-forward defenders) last year, so this summer we were able to cater his workouts to different types of defenders.
“It’s a matter of recognizing matchups and how defenders are guarding you. For instance, are they blitzing you or doubling you on the catch, or on the dribble? Knowing how to react to all of that comes with time and experience. He got a lot of that experience last year. He’ll get more of it this season.”
“I’ve definitely been working on passing, reading defenses better,” Davis said. “I’ve kind of just been doing some basic drills out of the post, playing against double-teams… That’s definitely going to be helpful once I figure out what plays we’re going to run, what sets we’re going to run, and try to incorporate my passing out of double-teams a lot easier.”

He'll have 3+ APG this season.

Boomshock says he's not elite.

He's teetering on the top 5. If you wanna say elite I'll allow it councillor.

He's gonna be a juggernaut when he hits his prime. He'll have an answer for everything

There's no right or wrong answer bro it's just my opinion.

Fair ranking. Where would you put CP3?
Posted on 8/21/15 at 8:20 am to CocoLoco
Somewheres a few spots down. I'd probably put Blake Griffin over him.

Whats your "Best Day" ranking of these players? Like if all these players were having their best game?

Why do people think that Westbrook is so good? Yea he filled up the stat sheet but that was mainly out hustling everyone on the court including his teammates. His play doesn't equate to wins like a superstar should.

I think to say, that with all of their tools clicking, that Harden is better than AD, is...hmmm...not correct.

Are you familiar with the Basketball reference game score? If not mabye you can familiarize yourself with it.
Harden had 3 games with a game score over 40, Davis had none. So even hardens 3rd best game was better than Davis best.
And without even looking at stats you can use an eye test.

His play at the end of the season was very similar to Lebron's play in the finals. Direct parallels, IMO.

I just checked Harden's.
His 2nd worst game score of the season came on 1/2/2015 on the road against the ...Pelicans.
He notched a solid 2.8 games score with a -20 +/-.
Davis average game score vs. HOU - 22
Harden average game score vs. NOP - 13.75
Basically, Davis feasts on Houston, and Harden sucks against the Pels.
