At halftime a young kid walked up to him with a pen and paper, Davis never even looked at him and the guy with him barely looked up from his phone and shoo-ed him away...

Common practice from the unibrow to fans in the team's home state?

AD is not the most approachable player. At a season ticket holder event his first year (at which the players were supposed to be mingling with the fans), my son went up to him to ask if he could take a picture with him and he walked away and ignored him. I chalked it up to him being young and maybe somewhat shy. The most gracious was Gordon. He stopped and talked to the kids, took pictures, dribbled with them, etc.

Scratch that, 5 minutes after I posted that I saw a Nike commercial with those same exact kids in it with AD

Some kids tried to get a picture after the game last night, and I'm guessing it was his dad who put his hand up and said no pics

Not the first time I've heard of this happening

That sucks, but as long as he is winning games here whatever

Yeah definitely doesn't interact with fans like CP3 did but if he's winning I dont really care. Hopefully it'll get better as he gets older and more mature.

Probably true, but that doesn't mean he's an a-hole. Although, during his rookie year I ran into him and Aminu at a restaurant during lunch. I jokingly said something about you guys get back to practice and work hard. Aminu said, "Yes sir, you know it". AD didn't say shite. I don't hold it against him . . . but . . . still . . .

We forget sometimes how young he is.

I just turned 26 a week ago and I still act like an idiot every now and then

I can't even imagine how it is to have everywhere I go people coming up and asking for a picture or autograph. I know that's gotta get aggravating. Then again, I can't even imagine making $100+ million. Idk.

I know EG has a huge sense of humor. Last year at Superior Grill he was with a small group of friends, a couple of those metry guys were leaving and was screaming cornerstone. He just waved and laughed

I have a buddy who in AD's rookie year hollered at him as he was going into the tunnel after the game, and AD looked up, saw him wearing a Hornets jersey, and tossed him a towel from the bench and signed it.

Different circumstances, obviously as he didn't want to be disturbed while enjoying the game, if that story is even true, but he seems like a good dude from what I've heard.

AD can do what he wants Mayne. Get off his dick for being an introvert and not liking to have people all over him asking for shite.

I'm disgusted. let's trade him immediately for an LSU player.

One of the few good things about our team is that all the players seem to be high character guys. Which is not a given in this league.

I watched the entire exchange. And it was during halftime.

For the record, I don't care. I just figured the superstar for the local team would be more engaging.

This current group of Boy Scouts has us at 11-23. Maybe we should get some jerks.
