play drums and percussion.

I have a blue acrylic ludwig drum kit (though unfortunately with me in Nola)
a triple bongo drum
A Cajon (a wooden box drum that you sit on)
And a Tupan/Davul (it's a Balkans/Turkish/Mediterranean double sided drum that basically a deep bass drum where yoututu use a switch on the drum like an Indian dhol. It also works great with second line brass and Mardi Gras Indian music. I played this one with The Wild Tchoupitoulas a few time this year, last time this past Sunday at Jazz Fest.)

I thought it would be rude if I said that it looked like one of those Epiphone Les Paul semi-hollowbodies.

Give me a second - I just did a google search of my guitar, I'll actually post a real picture of it here in a second - was a busy day at work, worked 13 hours, will be home in about an hour..

and yes, that's a les paul now that I look at it closer.. was the closest thing to what my guitar looked like on the google image search.

Drums since December. Family got me Gretsch set for Christmas and I nearly bricked!
Been studying in Nashville ever since and just bought my Ludwig 402 snare Saturday! Awesome sound. Hope to be decent by year end.

Small world! I have that exact one. Crate Vintage Club 30. Just put a new set of tubes in it. I bet that semi-hollow 335 with the humbuckers sounds really good through the clean channel. I play an Epiphone Casino hollowbody with P90s through mine and it's a rhythm machine.

I like the drive channel okay but there's waaay too much gain for what I like to play. Anything above "1" and it gets to fizzy. It's got a good compressed tone as long as I can keep that gain under control.

Have you experienced the channel switch circuit/volume level drop problem with yours yet? If so, FYI, the simple fix is to just plug your foot switch into its jack.

I love these amps. I got mine for $150 on craigslist and couldn't be happier.
