they have put out some real shitty shite in the last 15 years but blue album, pinkerton, EWBAITE, and this album redeem them.

check out out the new songs. they're good.

It's good to see this band back on track to writing quality stuff. It was really disappointing when they came back in 2001 and released a dud, then spent 13 years releasing mediocre stuff.

I just cant do it. I do not like really any Weezer stuff. The Sweater song is one of the worst song of the 90s IMO. I would rather just pretend they do not exist.

Brannigan gonna Brannigan.

The music isn't for everyone but you are usually a douche on this board anyway.

I don't either. Definitely one of the greatest albums of all time IMO. If you don't like nice sounding guitars, drums and melody then I guess you wouldn't like it.

I like it. Listening to it again on youtube to see which songs I will buy. Always liked their rockier songs.

If you really wanted to be clever, you would have brought up Peter Gabriel, who also has four self-titled albums.

More of the same from Weezer, whose Blue album has proven to be a true anomoly. This album has the poppy immaturity of their other shite, except being sang from 40 year olds makes it all the wrose. No substance whatsoever, frick weezer.

I disagree with your opinion 100% after listening to the album about 20 times all the way through. maybe give it another shot.

I mean...I get that lots of people like The Blue Album and don't like most of their other stuff. But if you don't care for Pinkerton either, I don't know what to say.

have listened to this record all the way through about 20 times or so now and it hasn't gotten old yet.

it's right up there with the blue album for me. it's different of course but god damn the songs are so well written. I went back and listened to most of EWBAITE from 2014 and this album blows it away IMO. In fact, this album makes every previous effort except pinkerton and blue album seem underwritten and half assed. This album actually has some of the best lyrics rivers has ever written IMO.

this is a true return to form for weezer.
makes you wonder what the frick they have been doing for the last 15 years when they are capable of putting out this kind of album.
