Lost one of the good guys. If you ever had the pleasure of watching him perform, you saw him give everything he had every time on stage. Hard not to enjoy his passion for live performance, even if his style was only a slight variance from James Brown.

Saw him several times before and after he found some fame, and he was even more gracious after he got famous. I'll never forget him hopping down onto the floor each time to hug/high-five/thank every fan in the joint while his band kept playing.

ETA: forgot TD had a music board; nobody ventures over there anyway.

Damn, I saw him a couple years ago at Free Press and had no idea who he was before. Incredible performer, and I'm glad I got to see him

I loved every single release of his. Sad that I never got to see him live.
