the waitress

Yeah dude, she was losing her shite, crying through several songs.

I was surprised, though. It was the little things in the songs that actually got me excited the most...the brass kicking in on "Oh, Comely"...the quick little drum rolls in "Untitled". "Naomi" was so good.

I am surprised at the lack of demand for these shows. I know they sold out initially, but now tix are going for relatively cheap.

It will be full tonight I bet. A number of people I know hadn't heard about the show initially and are now scooping up tickets.

Same here. I'd rather pay face when they get released than take the risk of getting shut out or having to get them from a scalper though.

For as much money as they put into the Civic, it has terrible acoustics...

It was good to see them last night and despite the sound, I had a good time..

I'm no audio engineer, but I think it has something to do with all that open space behind the stage.

Yeah and it also appears it's made out of nothing but concrete... No other materials used to soften the sound a bit

No doubt. The question is, will they fix it; and if so, how?

New Orleans always has good live music but the run from about January until Jazz Fest is impeccable

Anybody at the show tonight, I will warn you: You will spend about 90% of the show watching Jeremy Barnes. He was an animal last night.
