Man, I didn't realize how close it was to Happy's. There's usually street spots around there.

The target audience for this show will probably be on fixed gear bikes anyway

In for Friday night.

Parking lot across the street is only $5. The one in the building next to the theatre is $3 I think.

I was at the show last night at ACL Live. Man, the Moody Theater has some great sound.
It was unreal. I was expecting them to be good, but I was honestly blown away. Mangum's voice is so hypnotic and powerful.

This was a band on my bucket list, and they didn't disappoint.

Last night's setlist:

The King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1
The King of Carrot Flowers, Parts Two & Three
Holland 1945
A Baby for Pree / Glow Into You
Gardenhead / Leave Me Alone
Everything Is
Two Headed Boy Part 1
The Fool
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Naomi
Ferris Wheel on Fire
Oh Comely
Song Against Sex
Ruby Bulbs
Snow Song, Part One

Encore:
Ghost
[untitled]
Two Headed Boy Part 2
Engine

I missed his solo show last year, but my buddy said he was in tears by the end of the show.

Holland 1945 is the one I am looking forward to the most because of the full band sound.

I work a few blocks away and there's two lots on O'Keefe that should be open Thursday and Friday night for a small fee.

NMH was awesome. Wasn't expecting that much energy. Charlie Day was there and enjoying himself... He was with a blonde who I assume was the waitress, and certinaly looked liked her, but I wasn't positive because the girl was having so much fun--- like losing her mind, wildest person in there kind of fun. Only song I missed was Communist Daughter. Picked up a dope poster for $5 . I have a whole new respect for the band, especially for that beast, Julian, and can't wait for tomorrow to do it again. I hope they play "Oh Comely" again.

The show was great, but the sound was terrible.
