The Doors are underrated. One of the greatest bands of all time.

How on earth is that underrated?

because nobody ever talks about supertramp anymore...it’s like they never existed. Search this board for them, tell me what you find.

when was the last time YOU thought about them? Classic under appreciated band despite the record sales

Funny you bring up The Grass Roots. Your experience is the same as mine. Those two groups were the beginning of my really getting into music. Stuff like "Sooner Or Later" and "Two Divided By Love" are so good. Dennis Provisor was the perfect counterpoint to Rob Grill like Cory Wells was to Chuck Negron in Three Dog Night.

I would add the Guess Who to that list.

Nada Surf doesn't get the recognition they deserve. Everyone knows them from their one radio hit in the 90s (Popular) and that's a song that sounds nothing like anything else in their library.

I’ll go with Badfinger for very underrated and forgotten, but surely most unfortunate bands of all time.

Tesla is the band that everybody's heard their music on the radio but cannot name them.

Probably Old 97's. Fight songs is better than most bands' greatest hits.

The Connells would be up there.

Absolutely true. I think I even started a thread on it. I listen to Happy Kid, I like What You Say and Who's Authority at least once a week.
