I can’t handle his music being mid or declining

we'll know by this next record if it truly has declined. i'm going out on a limb and saying it's going to have 4-5 songs that are incredible, some eh songs, and then some song that pisses right leaning people off.

Jokes, and y’alls hate, aside - have made a good dent in it and it’s well done, and there’s no preaching. I’m enjoying so far.

You’re enjoying it so much that you’re posting in the middle of it, ??

About time. That's one nasty woman. I expect he will go through hell during divorce proceedings.

I don’t wish it on anyone, but I suspect stasis was the worst option for these two

I’m curious to see if Jason comes out with a monster album on his own or ends up meandering for a bit trying to find himself.

Looking back on this thread and some of the issues with his band member micromanaging him and really pressing him in uncomfortable ways- it’ll be interesting to see if it was steel sharpens steel, or if he plugs back in with the guys in new and exciting ways.

I think trading Amanda out of the studio and replacing with will Johnson’s presence will result in a lot more freedom, and still a really high quality writing sounding board. I think you may get a lil more rock n roll too

Well the new album is pretty incredible.

Sucks about his divorce but when he didn’t thank Amanda in his Grammy speech I knew something was up.

Well either get the most depressing songwriter record ever or the biggest rock and roll record he’s put out for the next release.

I’d love to see him and Sadler cut loose, and will Johnson has such a great feel for rock n roll melody

Itd be very cool to see a rock album with some distortion and then a couple ballads sprinkled in
