If you get spotify there won't be any reason to get xm IMO.

It has the whole LivePhish collection and Dick's picks. So yes it is the best.

Trying to decide on XM,

I like it and you can get it really cheap if you turn down their initial offer after your free 6 months are up. Like someone said, plenty of channels play the same shite a lot but you have to really be in your car a lot to notice it. I have a 5 hour commute twice a week and its noticeable to an extent. Still way better than the radio.

It's by far the best thing on my phone and well worth the 5 dollars a month

Skip XM. Spotify and podcasts, ftw.

I'm going to see how much it is. If it's not bad I'll get it. I think it'd be nice on long drives.

s XM worth it? I drive minimum 2 hours a day.

It is to me. I like variety, and I keep 5 lines of text visible at all times so I can see what's playing on my 5 favorites.

I had free sirius for 6 months when I got my truck and didn't like it enough to want to try to keep it. I feel like the stations replay the same songs over and over. At least with spotify you can pick whatever you want and skip if you're get into an ADHD mode like I do half the time

I never even used sirius in my truck and I had a year subscription, actually I take that back I listened to the Saints/Bills game when I was driving back to Mississippi from South Carolina one weekend. Spotify is much better especially since my AT&T plan has unlimited data. The discover option is legit.

I love spotify. If you can prove that you are a student, you can get it for 4.99/month. Best deal out there.

I don't love Sirius/XM, but you can get it for like 2 bucks a month if you negotiate enough, so I haven't dropped it. It's ok as a backup.

Yeah, I don't mind Sirius/XM for the sports/comedy aspect. I wouldn't ever pay full price for it.

I've got rhapsody which is basically like spotify but spotify is better. I would switch just have too many songs downloaded on rhapsody that I don't feel like having to do that again through spotify

How do you negotiate XM pricing? I assumed that was just a set price thing.

Have spotify premium. It's so legit.

I also have Sirius. It's alright. It's good for helping you find new artists and such. Plus, I love Elvis, so having a station that's 24 hours Elvis is excellent.

I listened to some really shitty radio before spotify and Sirius.

Best by far IMO. Been using it daily for about 3 years now. Love it.

ETA: The premium version, of course. It's the way to go.

s nearly every artist on there?

Yes and they keep adding more. About a year ago there was no Eagles or Kid Rock. They're both in.

Off the top of my head, I can no longer think of an artist that I want to listen to and they don't have.
