Just got an email from BlackenedOut's other half who books the music for Hogs.
Impressive pull. Think the MB will be pleased.
Hint: They're not a local band. They have been mentioned on the board favorably very recently.
When yall dropping it BO? I dont like having privileged info.

Looks like I will be only going on Friday, as Dumpstaphunk and North Mississippi All Stars are the only bands I am interested in

When & Where are they playing?
I'm not a big fan of what Ive heard so far... I may, you never know, but thats a long way off...
On another subject, what part did Lee Baines play in the Dexateens? Was he the main man? Singlewide came up randomly last week and i forgot how good that record was...

To be fair, I dont hate it... just dont hear anything special...
But, I'm a big fan of Alt. Country... Not necessarily Red Dirt ( I wouldnt classify AA as this) though...
I listened to a ton of this in the 90's and like many genres, it started diluting itself with mediocre bands (not saying AA are this) so I havent been as interested in it and I'm sure have missed many good bands because of it..

Lee joined right after they recorded
Elliot and john were the main guys on that record. John quit.
Singlewide is weird though. It's a good record, but not an accurate representation of what they are like live.
