Somebody in another thread posted this version of the Monkees' "Last Train To Clarksville" and it got me thinking about the topic.
Charles River Boys - "Yellow Submarine"
The Dillards - "I've Just Seen A Face"
Marty Stuart w/ Old Crow Medicine Show - "I Can See For Miles"
Leroy Van Dyke - "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue"
Yonder Mountain String Band - "No Expectations"
Allison Krauss - "Baby, Now That I've Found You"
Tim O'Brien does a great version of "Muswell Hillbilly" by The Kinks, but I can't find it online
The Country Gentlemen - "Fox On The Run" -- Now a bluegrass standard, this began life as a hit single by England's Manfred Mann

Dolly Parton covered these two: Stairway to Heaven and Time for Me to Fly
George Thorogood covered the Hank Williams song,
Move it on Over
Alan Jackson covered this one by Eddie Cochran
Summertime Blues
Faith Hill covered (clears throat) this hit by Erma Franklin and better known when recorded by Janis Joplin. Piece of My Heart
A funny one by Hayseed Dixie covering Queen.
Bohemian Rhapsody

The guy in the middle is Tommy Allsup, who lost the legendary coin toss with Ritchie Valens for a seat on the plane...
