I don't get autoerotic asphyxiation, I had an old girlfriend that would wrap her arms around my neck and squeeze like crazy cutting the blood supply off to my brain (not intentionally) while we orgasimed together and it never did a thing for me... wasn't pleasant.

I've been involved in one instance. Dumbass got an Allen wrenchband opened a window. Staff caught him so he rushed out the window. 6 or 7 stories. But the poor bastard did not pay attention underneath. There was a high awning outside his window. He fell about 3 stories and broke his back and hip. Poor fricker compounded his issues.
That was on a locked psych floor. Psych floors are going by the wayside. Often they are just in the ER. An ER is a shitty place to try and kill yourself. Most who "try" or threaten are at the attention seeking stage. Majority of those who get serious do what Cornell did. Don't say a fricking thing. Just find you hanging.
