Here's my list:

1. White Christmas (Bing Crosby--this is pretty much the consensus amiright?)

2. Have a Holly Jolly Christmas (Burl Ives--this one tells me that Christmastime is here for real)

3. Sleigh Ride (Johnny Mathis--incredible voice; great song)

4. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Andy Williams--this one just makes you feel good)

5. Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire (Nat King Cole--this is Christmas!)

Honorable Mention: I Believe in Father Christmas (Greg Lake of ELP--it's criminal that this song is not played more often; it's an amazing piece of song writing; fire it up on youtube--you'll thank me later)

I love the traditional Christmas songs, like to hear Gene Autry, Nat King Cole, Frank, Bing & Dean among others.
That being said, a lot of great blues classics like Chuck Berry- 'Merry Christmas Baby' and then what about glam classics like Wizzard- 'I wish it could be Christmas everyday' and Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everyone'. If you want to take a trip off the beaten path, try James Chance- 'Christmas with Satan'.

Love most on your list for thinking about my childhood Christmases. As an adult with my own kids I still love the Mannheim steamroller songs.

I've got a couple of curve balls in mine:

1. Happy Holidays - Andy Williams
2. Christmas in Hollis - Run DMC
3. O Come O Come Emmanuel - I've always loved Mike Reid's version
4. Mary Did You Know - Kathy Mattea
5. White Christmas - Bing Crosby
6. It Wasn't His Child - Skip Ewing
7. The Christmas Song - Nat King Cole
8. The Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby and David Bowie
9. Christmas Time is Here - Vince Guaraldi
10. Christmas Island - Leon Redbone
11. I'll be Home for Christmas - Bing Crosby (always makes me think of our soldiers overseas)
12. Blue Christmas - Elvis (Seymore Swine version will also suffice)
13. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas - Perry Como
14. No Place Like Home for the Holidays - Perry Como
