Arguably the best two albums Metallica ever put out and each are staples of Heavy Metal.
Which one gets the upper hand in the board's opinion?
Ride the Lightning (1984)
Track list:
1.) Fight Fire with Fire
2.) Ride the Lightning
3.) For Whom the Bell Tolls
4.) Fade to Black
5.) Trapped Under Ice
6.) Escape
7.) Creeping Death
8.) The Call of Ktulu
Master of Puppets (1986)
Track list:
1.) Battery
2.) Master of Puppets
3.) The Thing that Should Not Be
4.) Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
5.) Disposable Heroes
6.) Leper Messiah
7.) Orion
8.) Damage, Inc.

That's hard. Master of Puppets, Battery, and Orion were some pretty sweet pieces along with TTTSNB. But RTL was way more gritty and nasty. Live performances pre 2000 of creeping death were fricking awesome when Jason was at the vocals screaming DIE with that earth shattering voice of his.

Pick one a-hole!
Put me down for Ride the Lightning.
Although, I am pretty sure Mr. Tremonti prefers Master of Puppets.

I'm gonna go with Puppets, barely edging RtL

I'll say Ride because I listen to it more than Puppets but they're both great.

Really difficult to choose but I'll go RtL for Fade to Black.

Although I love both of them, I'd have to go with Puppets. That being said, I think the Black Album is their best....

I'm going to go with RTL by a slim margin. It's hard knowing MoP and Orion are two of my favorite Metallica songs, but overall I'd have to give the edge to RTL.

Today I'll say RTL. Tomorrow might be Puppets.

This is tougher than I thought it would be. Orion is god, but I think I'll go with RtL

That's a difficult choice. If I had to choose I would pick MoP.
