I swear, the first several times that I heard "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers, I was almost certain that they were both black singers.

I always thought Eddie Vedder was Asian until I watched PJ20.

when I was younger and heard the songs for the first time or two, I thought the high voice parts in Stay by jackson browne and 'I aint missing you' (can't remember artists) were both females.

Some of the organizers of Woodstock thought Joe Cocker was black until he showed up.
Thought the kid from Hanson was a chick. video didn't clear it up for me.
