Saw him & the SBB back in early 80's, LSU Assembly Center I believe. I remember thinking it was really cool, but can't remember how long he played.

Long time ago. Late '75 or early '76.
He actually opened for KISS.
Barton Coliseum, Little Rock AR.
He was great, far far better than KISS.

1986 at the PMAC. He rocked the house.

This could be his last tour. I'd go see him if I had the chance. He's just got so many great songs that it would be worth hearing them live. He's a trip because he looks like about the least rock and roll dude I've ever seen on a stage (like somebody's grandpa that isn't supposed to be up there), but he's a great musician and based on this clip from just last month that I just came across since you got me curious, his voice has held up extremely well for being in his 70s (and the dude has tons of energy).

I saw him as a wee lad back in like 1980 / 81 and he was great.

I saw him in '07 and it was good. Going to see him on the 21st because the son wants to see him so I'm taking him.

Mom and dad took me to see him around 84 or 85. It was all kinds of awesome.

But can you blame him? Today's music ain't got the same soul.
