From what I read they've been labeled as the worst musical act ever.

While they're not the best, they're far from the worst. They have three songs I keep on my phone.

My Homies Baby Momma

Suicide Hotline

So am I the only one that could watch Juggalo videos of the gathering all day? It's beyond fascinating to me.

he whole juggalo / gathering culture is simultaneously sad and unintentionally hilarious

Pretty much sums it up. It goes beyond taking the world's rejects and putting them all in one spot then infuse them with drugs and clown makeup. You couldnt' dream that up.

And let me add, I think I'd rather attend a Gathering as a sober spectator than attend Bonnaroo.

They came out and said all there music was about God and following him or something like that a few years ago. Bizarre to say the least.

It's hard for me to overstate how much I dislike this group but I do respect some things about their fans. I've always mainly listened to punk rock (like all kinds of music, though) and punk fans like to portray punk as pure and unpretentious but there has always been a very strong undercurrent of pretentiousness and image consciousness in punk rock music. In that, the 'Juggalos' are the real deal. They truly do not give a frick what anyone else thinks. Also, a lot of punk kids try to project an image of poverty and might even spend a few years slumming it but most are a phone call away from mommy and daddy saving the day. Juggalos, for the most part, really are the poor kids with shitty parents and "no future".

I have a friend that lived in an area heavy with juggalos and she HATED them. She had a kid and we teased her that her kid would turn out to be an ICP fan. We made the kid an ICP onesie when it was born.

fun times.

The early stuff is pretty good, funny as hell. I listened in the 90's after seeing Chicken' huntin on The Box and followed them till around 1999. They fell off when Mike e Clark stopped producing bc of a fall out with icp around the wraith album. His production is key to if they have a good album or not.

Mike Clark produced all their stuff until then and did the latest 2 albums. He also produces for Kid Rock, won a grammy for "All Summer long" and some other acts. He takes a very mediocre duo and puts his grammy winning production behind it and it polishes up the overall sound so it at least "sounds good" IMO. Some of the lyrical stuff (esp in the 90's) is funny as hell. I look at them more as a novelty comedy act than anything else. It blows my mind that they have such a cult following that the FBI has listed them as a hybrid gang.

The Great Malenko, RiddleBox, and Jeckel Brothers albums are classic. New stuff BangPowBoom! And mighty death pop are great too

bullet went in my eyeball
and came out my anus.......
fawkin lyrical geniuses these guys......
All kidding aside I watched an interview with them one time were the person doing the interview had researched and found out about all the charity work ICP had been doing. Apparently they are very active in giving back and helping others. Gotta respect how loyal of a following they have
