Pretty wide range of performers and of course the typical Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, FGL, etc

But damn I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pumped to go to Aaron Watson, Stapleton, Alan, and Willie

I was waiting up for this. Huge, fresh exciting lineup this year.

Why is there a Black Heritage Day?

I wondered the same thing when I saw it and assume it to be a poorly veiled attempt at pandering to a new audience to expand the rodeo.

There is a black heritage day and a Hispanic heritage day every year.

ETA: I could have sworn there was a actual Hispanic heritage day but now that I look at the lineup I see there isn't an official one listed. The day with the Mexican band on the 19th is the pseudo Hispanic day.

If the power could somehow go out on the 12th, 13th, 16th, and 20th, that would be awesome. Would love to see Watson, Willie, and Stapleton.

Who would you rather see?

It made me nervous when they said they were making the lineup more diverse, but I thought they did a pretty good job. Much better than last year (Not saying much, but still.)

Hate country music but remembering showing steers and lambs every year at the HLS. The event is huge, so much to see and do for anyone honestly.

That may have been the original idea, but it's not new. There have been black and Tejano days for at least 20-30 years, maybe more. There are black and tejano trail rides and committees too. The Rodeo is designed to make money, and they want as many people as possible to participate.
