Agreed

Most this board thought I was crazy when I said she was hotter than Rebecca Romijn.
Thats a crazy statement. JL is hot, but RR is way hotter

Days of Future Past is a pretty damned iconic comic storyline. Hope they can do it justice.
Trailer looked pretty good. Only nitpicks I ave with it is the shot of Storm at the beginning seemed a little wooden in the acting department. And those sets, which I guess was supposed to be the future, seemed kind of cheesy future instead of gritty future.

Ok so let's talk about this story.
From the looks of it:
Something is going to happen after X-Men 3 (involving Trask and sentinels) that was started because of something that happened in the past, which would have been First Class?
By definition, the film should more concern the new near future, but I'm not sure that will be the case here.
We know it won't or can't concern Kelly, Pryde as vessel, or a continuation of the timeline (says the DoFP time line still exists, technically, in the Marvel universe).

Bit of overly technical detail:
I couldn't be sure if Wolverine had bone or metal claws in the trailer, but it seemed metal.
Is it seemed to be just a transfer of consciousness into his past self. Or is there something I am missing?
If there is something major behind that rather than just a good, Nevermind...

Looks good.
Can't help but wonder which one of the mutants figured out how to build a flux capacitor. Of course Storm can generate the 1.21 jigawats.

Is anyone else insanely sick of Wolverine?

I was having my doubts about the sequel since they're bringing characters back from the early 2000's films, but...Peter Dinklage=definitely seeing this.

I was leery of saying too much about it because I know how things can get with shows/movies based on books and comics.
To be honest, I'm not that intimately familiar with the whole storyline as I haven't read it in a long long time. But I know the outline and of course it's available all over the web and it was so popular it's spawned tons of sequels of different sorts. (Heck, I think even a Marvel/DC cross over had part of a story set there).
I guess we need to figure out a spoiler policy for this too?

Not really, I think they have done more with him honestly, especially the Logan takes over for PX storyline.
And Jackman has been superb in the role. Perfect casting.
Now I do wish that some neglected characters had some more screen time or appeared at all, but we can't win em all.
And having a very neutered Cyclops was the result of a more popular Wolverine, and that I didn't like.

From the preview, I don't think are taking anything but time travel and Sentinels. I could be wrong though.

+1
JL is a chick you'd go raw with. RR is a chick you'd make sure you didnt pull out of.

I'm torn on this issue. While on one Wolverine is a cool character played perfectly by Jackman...
He would be better served with a lesser role. Less is more with Wolverine. Same with the cartoon. For example, they should have used Wolverine like The Dark Knight did the Joker. The screen time wasnt dominant...however, he just cut through like a shark at the perfect times.
imho
Oh and Cyclops definitely got the shaft. James Marsden(sp) is a good actor...but he was too young at that time for the role. If Clive Owen didnt have that thick accent he would have been perfect (circa 2000-2002)

As good as Fassbender is as Magneto...
He's pretty much the perfect Cyclops.

Its the same argument with Daryl, Han, Tommy. Lancers have fanboys always but they can get overused.
Anyway the only part that concerns me has been since they cast First Class - How do you go physically from James McAvoy to Patrick Stewart from The Cuban Missle Crisis to the year 2000? How do you go from Fassbender to McKellen in the same time frame? Or are we going to assume something like the original XMen movie took place in say 2015?

I like this storyline. I also saw Bishop in the trailer, so I wonder if he comes from an even more messed up future to warn them.
