That shite is so damn annoying. Marvel needs to get their characters back.

One day Scruff. It'll happen eventually. At least with Spiderman. There's a lot of area for Fox to explore in the X-Universe so I doubt Marvel will see them anytime soon.

I would kill for a Captain America/Wolverine WWII era movie. And I don't even care for Wolverine that much.

Not really sure what to think of this movie. I loved First Class and thought it was way better than the 3 X Men movies that came out in the early 00s. Not sure how it's going to pan out with mixing the old and new cast.

I think they can pull it off.

Would probably make a top 5 list of movies Marvel need:

The Fall and Rise of Cyclops - Immensely Epic and Powerful
WWII - CA and Wolverine
Kang or Korvac (Post-Thanos Avenger throwdown)
Civil War
Infinity Gauntlet

Recently - Uncanny X-Force could be great.

My wants are much more attainable. I want an animated series based on Age of Apocalypse. They came close to doing that for season 2 of Wolverine and the X-Men, but then cancelled the show.

I say it every time it comes up, the Cyclops story is like an old Hellenic tragedy and would be amazing on film/short-form television series. I've wanted to take a shot at the script before, but never got around to it. Just to do it, because there's a wonderful story to tell if someone can bring efficiency to it. (Part of the epicness is the slow crumble of his world over the years, a movie capturing that would be tough work).

Almost put that in the top 5. Animated is probably the way to go, though, for that story.

If they do it'll be a trade for a character or characters that Disney is willing to part with. Or some deal for distribution rights or a piece of the pie for Sony.

Unless Disney just buys Sony.

Hated X-3. Are we just supposed to assume it didn't happen? How is Prof back?

I really was shocked how much I liked First Class. Ramping up the violence to more realistic levels was a nice touch.

The trailer shows some serious ambition. Worth a theater screening to see if they can pull it off.

As a side note, Jennifer Lawrence is still smoking. Most this board thought I was crazy when I said she was hotter than Rebecca Romijn.

Singer said he's not ignoring X3 but that he's gonna "clean up" the mess it made. Whatever that means.
