Maybe they are putting the cast and crew on the Stanislavsky "method" diet. Gotta keep production costs down somehow.

I am way more pumped for this movie than I was weeks ago. I was worriee DC/WB were just trying to jump on the SJW movement by giving us a Wonder Woman movie then telling us we are sexist if we don't like it (i.e. new Ghostbuster/Roadhouse) but it looks like they actually want to make a real movie with depth and thought.

Once we see how Gadot carries herself in Batman V Superman, we'll have a good idea of how this movie will play out. If the scenes on Paradise Island/Thymescara look as classy as the WWI stuff, we could be in business.

Gal is going to do great. I worked with her earlier this year on an action/comedy with some intense chase/fight scenes that she nailed ... Not only is she stunning in person, she is a really nice person.

I was very skeptical at first, but after seeing her interviewed, I believe it will be her warmth, personality, and belief in the character that (much like Lynda Carter) will make it all work.

Connie Nielsen from Gladiator has been cast as Queen Hippolyta, WW's mother. Good choice although I was expecting someone a bit more physically imposing. She is beautiful and does have a presence though. I loved her quiet strength in Gladiator.

I am more convinced than ever that this film will rock. Love the WWI setting, the tone and color, and loving Gal and how she looks as the character. The glasses scene was very reminiscent of Lynda Carter IMO.

Hillary Clinton getting her now presidency was long overdue and she deserves it. It's an interesting candidate that has never been explored before on the big stage. Tons of potential with her.

Come on son.

I don't really get it.

They just took another small average woman and pretended she could actually fight - playing dress-up. (Yes, it's all make believe but at least Xena had some muscle and girth).

Wonder Woman is a warrior princess of the Amazons (which are based on the Amazons of Greek mythology in which they were large women.)

Wonder Woman was originally 6'3 and weighed 150 pounds.

Then she was changed to 6'0 and 130 pounds.

Now she is 5'6" and weighs probably 110 pounds.

Tattoo from Fantasy Island could take her.

Where are you getting these supposed heights?

Lynda Carter is 5'9.5"
Gal Gadot is 5'10"

Where are you getting 5'6"?

I'm getting more and more excited for this film. I think Patty Jenkins is gonna kill it.

Okay, she just looked small from the clip.

The heights are from mythology and the original drawings on what she was based on.

Like I said, by the time the TV show came around (which I did like) she had shrunk.

She wasn't an Amazon anymore. She just had huge tracts of land and fancy bracelets. They could have (at the very least) kept the land in casting.

Wonder woman is supposed to be a huge Amazonian buxom woman.
