They tried with an animated TV series. It sucked. I think if they approached it with a dark tone it could work really well. I don't think it would be that hard to give link a voice. Cast him well, come up with a great story line for him, and don't cheese it up.

It was a fun series. It was late 1980s and I was a kid who watched Super Mario Bros Show every afternoon and enjoyed the special Zelda episodes on Fridays. But yeah a darker show would be a must now that I'm all grown up.

Zelda videos have been on youtube forever, no movie; but there was a long video of over 60m that youtube took down more than 5-6 years ago.
Great video, there have been a number of these fan based videos and many of them very good.

I love that game. Has some awesome music. I agree the cell shaded graphics were tough to get used to, but I thought on the whole it was fantastic. I think Skyward Sword really built on the concept though.
