As good as anything else on, period. The acting is beyond reproach. And I love how they throw so many plot twist into each episode. I'm usually bored by shows in that I can guess ahead what's going to happen, but I never can with this one.

and though they finally got around to including Black Beard this season, I'm not sure I liked how he was cast. A father figure to Vane. I was expecting a lil more from his vicious, swashbuckling larger than life character. I'm kinda 50-50 on how he was portrayed, but flint owes Vane his life. lol

This is a good solid show though. The only good thing going on tv right now until the others arrive in the next month or two(GoT, Outlander, Penny Dreadful, etc.)

I've been thinking this since season 2, but this show is truly getting better and better every single episode. This latest episode is great. Not only that, but I never expected the writers to tackle so many more psychological aspects into the plot, not just the action and story lines. Maybe being the best part of the series is the shades of gray/moral ambiguity in every main character's path. Good stuff.
And it looks like the last two episodes this season are gonna be intense.
If you haven't started watching this series, do yourself a solid and catch up in the few weeks of free time before GoT starts.
