Favorite monsters: Bela Lugosi/Christopher Lee as Dracula and Boris Karloff as Frankenstein monster.
Favorite Monster Movies: Dracula and The Werewolf of London (1930s), The Blob ('50s) and Godzilla (1954).

I don't consider something like The Thing or even Aliens a "monster movie," in the classic sense.
My favorite monsters are King Kong and Frankenstein (Godzilla just misses).
The Best Monster movie is Bride of Frankenstein, no question.
My favorite Monster movie is Creature from the Black Lagoon, by a wide margin.

King Kong and the one with Jessica Lange. But I wasn't a big monster film fan. The latest Godzilla was pretty cool as well.

Agreed. I consider them horror/sci-fi movies.
