yes

his whole endgame is to destroy the system. he was never considered shite and didnt even get consideration from the love of his life because of his lowborn status

no, im not using knowledge from the books, because even we don't know what his ultimate plan is. im just pretty sure that that's what it is

totally

He is an agent of chaos who wants the whole system to come crashing down. It's a system which denied him the only thing he ever really wanted. No one (except maybe Sansa) means shite to him at this point.

I always figured John Snow and Dany since the series is known as A Song of Fire and Ice. Dany and her dragons represent fire of course and Jon is ice, but who knows anymore. I could see someone like Pod getting the throne.

As Varys said, "he would see this country burn to be King of the Ashes."

Do you genuinely enjoy those two story lines? I love the show but Bran and John Snow are not that entertaining. As I have stated in previous threads, I am not a book reader, I imagine the Bran story is far better in print as the warg(sp) aspect does not seem to translate into great television. I enjoy the political intrigue of the show so I am always a little sad when it moves away from King's Landing but I am almost brought to tears when I see Snow or Bran.

I took that to mean that he is willing to do anything to become king and does not have the country's best interests at heart.

The rightful heir would be Daenerys... they called Robert the usurper for a reason.

Two of my favorite characters.

I agree the show doesn't really do Bran's story justice because a lot of his story is warging/dreaming and internal thoughts

i thought under targaryn rule women couldn't inherit the throne? if so Stannis is still the rightful king.

Robert Baratheon has every bit a right to the throne as any Targaryan. The Targaryan dynasty was started through conquest. The Baratheon kingship was started by overthrow of those conquerors. Why is one more "legitimate"?

The Valyrians/Targaryans came to Westeros after most of the other families. But if we want to go with who was there first, I guess the Children of the Forest should be in charge.
