Wasn't Chris Rock in the Grown Ups movies? He's one of Adam Sandler's buddies so he'll have a career of doing small parts in his movies if he wants.
Chris Tucker got all Jesusy after Rush Hour 2 and held out for $25 million for Rush Hour 3, which he eventually got. He was also in Silver Linings Playbook. I think he's done some stand up here and there but mostly nothing.

Chris Tucker hit the road doing standup after his IRS problems. He's also been big on finding the right roles, which is why he only does one movie every few years.

Pretty good dramatic role for Rock. He stars with Julie Delpy from the "Before" movies. Delpy wrote and directed it and like her other movies, its very dialogue heavy, so you really get to see Rock show some skill.
I believe he was doing Broadway at the time and was looking to do some more serious stuff. Granted, the movie's not a straight drama, it has plenty laughs, but they aren't coming from Rock.
Just fwiw, anybody looking to see it should probably check out the first one, first.
