Love almost all of the movies posted but Cocktail is a good choice for hitting the 80s aesthetic. Commando does agood job of capturing the ridiculous action feel of the era.

FWIW in terms of the most 80s sequence I would go with the Key West scene from Running Scared. Just a ridiculous 3 minutes (the roller skating, the clothes, that song).

Not Cocktails IMO.

I'd easily put most John Hughes movies, Back to the Future trilogy or Last American Virgin before Cocktails. Hell I'd put Risky Business ahead of Cocktails in the Best of the 80's ranking.
