There was a scene in the show where Gene snaps out of his military flashback and is convincing himself that he's getting married, etc. When he walks by the fridge and just brushes his hand against it. Little things like that make it worth watching the movie first. I haven't seen the movie in about a year, so after watching this, I'm going to watch again.

Was very upset when I realized it was only 8 episodes. I was expecting 10 and didn't realize until the 8th was over.

Plus the whole period scene is way funnier if you're familiar with the character.

Pretty sad that I'm done with it. I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Was this a parody of other movies I haven't seen that might have made it more funny?

It's basically making fun of the old summer camp movies a la Meatballs and shite like that.

REALLY over the top

I like how they just killed off Jason Schwartsman since he didn't really have a reason to be there due to not being in the original.

And how H Jon Benjamin's "can of vegatables" character came to be.

Watched the movie yesterday and thought it was good in a goofy humor sort of way.

I plan on watching the show next weekend.

Occasionally this board produces a gem. I just watched the movie for the first time and started on the series, awesome stuff. I used to love The State, not sure how I never saw this before.

They need to do the 10 year reunion season set in the 90s next.

If anybody used to like The State or those people, or even just shows like that, then they should watch WHAS immediately for sure.

I'm half way through and I've really enjoyed it so far. I had to rewatch the movie since it had been about 10 years, and I enjoyed the movie this time more than I had before.

Its the little, quick things that make this so much fun IMO

And for those that are done with the series/movie and are itching for more, "They Came Together" is on Netflix and is really flying under the radar. It's another Wain flick with most of the crew starring Rudd and Poehler.

5 million dollars...not a penny more...not a penny less.

So if we asked you for less than 5 million dollars you would say no?
