The ending didn't suck. Sorta like the ending of Lost didn't suck. Kind of the same thing.

Sorry, I disagree. They both plucked at the emotional heart strings and hit those notes.

But the logic holes are big enough to drive a Cylon Basestar through.

After you've had time to think about the endings of both of these shows, the critical mind would start to remember all the unanswered questions and you realize how many plot holes they left with no explanation. It quickly becomes obvious that a LOT of the mystery was just "shite the writers made up on the fly to mind frick the audience" and they have no idea how to resolve it so they just flat out ignored it.

Sorry, if a HUGE part of the style and draw for your show is the mysteries and twists to plot, you owe it to your audience to reveal the "who dun it" in the end.

Both Lost and BSG failed miserably in this.

I remember the lost plot holes and unanswered questions but they did that on purpose, but what did bsg leave?

Lol. Take it for what it is - entertainment.

I'm sorry you didn't like the "who dun it" they both revealed. It just didn't meet your taste and that is ok.

Ya know, in some universe Rachel and Ross don't end up together. Richard Kimble never catches the one-armed man. Cheers closes down. Angel and Buffy get married. Hawkeye gets hit by a stray bullet climbing into the helicopter. Q turns Picard into a rat, a bald rat. Ted Baxter gets fired too. The autistic boy holds a snow globe with a library (and not a hospital) in it. And . . . Bob wakes up with his blonde wife.

One of the best shows of all time.

To all those who want to watch, just keep an eye on Amazon, the whole set, Blu Ray, will get cut 40-50% at various times throughout the year. Well worth it for fans. I think I got the whole series +The Plan and Razor on Blu Ray for $60.

One of the most well written shows on tv.

My wife and I just started watching it a couple of weeks ago. At the end of the two part mini series the Cylons say that it may take decades to find the humans after they jumped to deep space.

Then the first episode after that the Humans and Cylons are playing cat and mouse. They loosely explain it by saying a cylon must be aboard, but it was very confusing the way it was so definitive initially.

Until the shitshow last episode.

Final episode was great. It was the forced rush of the final season that made it fall a little flat, and that's not the producers' fault.

The Blu Ray went on sale last Fall for $25 on Amazon UK. Of course, I bought it. So look out for that one too.

Like Ramrod said it's on me. I can't fault you for that. It was a joke. I should have put a disclaimer in my post.

been awhile but i recall that the pressure was on and that SCI-FI gave them one last short season to wrap it up but that was going to be that.

re: the finale, had they just set the new "earth" in the future, and not the past, many of the egregious leaps of logic and natural law required to get there would have been unnecessary
