Agreed. But in their defense, Keanu doesn't have the most charisma either. Don't get me wrong, he was perfect for the role. But the only time I really remember much charisma from him was in the replacements when he screams "It's to the left!"

Seriously, it pisses me off when they do these "reboots" of iconic franchises that would be better served writing them as chapters of the same story universe. Jurassic World is an example of pulling this off....and look what they did.
Now look at the Ghostbusters remake.

He isn't terrible either. Friday night lights, Fruitville Station, Creed, all winners for me. Don't get me wrong he has his lowlights too, but don't most actors.

I disagree. I think he is a good actor.
Friday Night Lights seasons 4 & 5 were my favorites of the entire series because of him. He was very, very good in Creed and Fruitvale Station.
I'm actually a bit bummed that he is doing that superhero movie Black Panther. I wish he'd stick with the dramatic roles.

i'm not saying like "this will ruin my childhood" or anything but this is just stupid. the whole reason the first movie was a hit was that it was slightly out of the box and had cool visuals. we already know the trick and visuals are so over-done these days that it's very difficult to be novel
