Let's keep this 100% spoiler free.

I'm so glad to seem them off the farm and possibly moving to a new location.

The ending shot looked to me like a prison. Looked like fortified walls or fencing. One of the best places to realistically get to in a zombie apocalypse.

The badass samurai looked female, and the most intriguing part was the seemingly TAMED armless walkers attached via chains. How in the hell do you tame walkers? Lobotomy?

My wife got mad at me when I told Carl to "go get bit" when he walked off at Sophia's spot.

I hope Daryl is featured as much if not more in season 3. He is the star of the show, IMO.

I'm assuming the helicopter belongs to the people at the new compound. That's a good resource to have. I wonder what they use it for... looking for survivors? getting resources? leading hordes in favorable directions? Who knows.

I don't know if I've ever been more pumped for a show to return than I am with the Walking Dead. Game of Thrones comes close, so I'm glad that it's near.

There is no helicopter in the comics:

That being said: I think the helicopter is military/government related. I don't think Randall's group seemed like they were in a rush and in desperate need of somewhere to stay. (ie. wanted to take over the farm)

I think the helicopter will show up time and time again but we won't know about that till much later. The only thing this last episode told us it the helicopter WAS REAL. Not a figment of Rick's mind.

i agree. the chopper will be a recurring theme i think. sort of a "there is still hope" kind of thing.

It is a prison. Not a spoiler; the director/writer on talking dead confirmed it last night.

Already confirmed that it is a female.

I was just looking over the character list page:

Think we'll see this family again from season 1?

I know they went elsewhere to look for more family.. but who know in the ZA, what might make you change your mind and meet up again:

If we have to pick a place for the epicenter of a Z.A., I pick Tuscaloosa.

It is going to be interesting to see who is already at that prison and how the group interacts with them. I don't think it is just going to be a deserted prison that they can just set up house in.

yea the likely hood of that prison being empty is very low and as a viewer I would be pissed if it was empty or just had some nice family trying to hold up in there.

Personally if I was in the group i would have kept moving and not have setup a camp in that area. They weren't really that far away from the farm invasion.

I want to pick up with the whole "everyone's infected" issue.

In some other threads, people have mused that this means humanity is completely screwed and that this is the last generation for humanity (speculation that Lori's hell-child will be a zombie). I don't know if this is based off a knowledge of the books, but I don't think that this automatically means that the species is headed for the ashheap of history.

Bear in mind there have been pandemics before, that have decimated the human race (bubonic plague, pneumonic plague, Spanish influenza) and, invariably, there are people that will have natural immunities to the disease. There's no reason to believe that will not be the case with this either.

At least there will be zombie prisoners in the locked cells.
I'd bet on there being at least one or two former employees roaming it on the down low. Would make sense for them to return there after ZA though you'd think most or all would have left on ZDay.
