Breaking Bad
J/k.
Anywho. I'd have to say season 4 of Lost was my favorite (Desmond in the Constant FTW!). Granted I marathoner 1 ,2, 3 & 4. Season 5 was great and I felt season 6 was a fitting end to the show I loved.
For a show really dear to my heart that started to get ridiculous was 24. I mean the same thing happened to the same guy 8 "days" and I believe the time gap from season 1 to season 8 was like 18 years (correct me if I'm wrong). After season 5 it was kinda downhill but season 7 was a nice return to form. Season 8 was decent. That all said I was still able to suspend disbelief and had a great time and that's what makes good TV IMO. Just like LOST.
Dexter would easily fit into this category but it had a solid season 7.

After awhile it got old and repetitive. Still, it was great, ground-breaking TV. My favorite show of all time.

Had to look up Sarah Walker
To me she is Miranda in Mass Effect 2 and I loved knocking the boots with her.
I guess I should check out this Chuck show.

my favorite show ever. I recently went through all 5 seasons again in a few weeks and they were all pretty amazing.

Oz
Great show but it got so far fetched in S4 that it made the show hard to watch. Still was good all the way through though

God would not only forgive you for skipping church on Sunday to watch the first season, he would also bring the beer and sit on the couch next to you. All those things he said not to do with harlots and out of wedlock in the bible... Was before he met Sarah Walker...

Maybe not exactly on topic, but Married With Children had 3 or 4 episodes where they tried to create horrible spin off shows.

Nip/Tuck did get ridiculous, but I watched it all the way through as well
I'd say Prison Break was the biggest one. First season was great, but then I watched a few more years of ridiculous bullshite.
I won't do the same with The Following...although I did watch the whole season through
Weeds got worse and worse, but watched it all the way through.
I quit watching HIMYM a few years ago. Dragged way too much. I'll watch some of this last season though.
People saying House are crazy.
And why the frick is anyone talking about AD or The Sopranos in this bish?

Came here to post HIMYM. Can't stop watching it. It may have the best "hook" that I know of. All I know is, when they reveal the mother, it will not be legendary. However, Barney Stinson will be.
I thought they revealed the mother in himym at the end of last season?
The mother

I'm gonna keep watching The Following just for the great threads on here mocking it.

I've probably watched 15+ entire series of TV shows. The Office's second to last season almost pushed me to the point of quitting, mainly due to Nellie, but I finished. I have a pretty wide array of tastes and finish almost anything I start.
The exceptions are:
Weeds: May finish one day, but the last season I watched ended with Shane's freak out, I laughed and haven't watched an episode since.
24: Watched 4 episodes and it wasn't for me. From what I hear, this may fit the category of this thread for those who watched it all.
Chuck: I don't really know why. Watched two seasons and ejoyed it, but never cared to watch the next one. Might have to re-watch.

House.
I hated his second group of peoples, but I had to finish it.
