I loved the movie and will definitely be seeing that. However, in the movie, Cooper figures out a way to never need the pill again. Why would that not carryover to this show that clearly takes place after the movie? Also, can we assume Cooper is President at this point?

I'm really curious how they're going to handle stuff like this. Part of why I'll watch. Well, that and Debra Morgan.

The number of people in Hollywood who ever have an original thought is about 1 in 1,000,000.

Surprised they got Cooper to reprise his role.

Also, I didn't think he found a way to never take the pill again, but rather found a way to make it sustainable.

I loved the movie, and the fact that the TV show is going to be tied to the universe has me freaking out like a school girl, so very excited about this.

It's on CBS so it'll probably suck like all of their other television dramas.

Watch the first show tonite...gotta say, very even keeled awesome start to the show.

The pilot was pretty much perfect and it has alot of potential. They didnt go too far with the explanations during different scenes but gave enough to make it interesting.

gonna watch this one.

It's CBS so it's going to be a procedural where each episode will be him solving some kind of case using his new found ability. And each episode will be exactly the same as the last one.

and theyve also put together an overarching theme for the season. sure there will be episodes where it will just be the case of the week, but there will be an overarching plot to the season

I haven't seen the movie or the pilot yet, but I will definitely watch the pilot soon. For those that have watched it, should I see the movie first?

How often is Cooper going to be on? Just a cameo in a couple of episodes this season?

He's listed as an executive producer, so probably as often as required to make it successful.
